The California Health Care Foundation is interested in the opinions and views of Californians on important health issues. The survey results will inform policymakers and health care leaders on key issues affecting Californians.
The survey is being conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago, in partnership with the California Health Care Foundation. The California Health Care Foundation is dedicated to advancing meaningful, measurable improvements in the way the health care delivery system provides care to the people of California and works to ensure that people have access to the care they need, when they need it, at a price they can afford.
NORC is an objective, nonpartisan research institution that delivers reliable data and rigorous science to guide critical business, program, and policy decisions. NORC has been conducting impactful, unbiased research for over 80 years for organizations such as Consumer Reports, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Associated Press, Harvard University, National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, US Department of Education, US Department of Veterans Affairs, and many more.
The survey allows one qualified adult in your household, 18 years or older, to complete the survey.
Participation is easy! You can take the survey from a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. Just enter the PIN printed on the postcard or invitation letter to complete the survey. You can skip any questions in the survey.
If you are eligible and complete the survey before it closes, we will give you $10 in your choice of an Amazon.com, Target, Walmart, or Mastercard eGift Card or a physical Mastercard.
We are required to protect your confidentiality and your opinions:
- Only NORC researchers conducting the survey will have access to your personal contact information.
- We report the results in summary form only, protecting your privacy by grouping your opinions with those of many other residents in your city. No one’s name is disclosed in the report.
- We only use your contact information for this study; we do not share your name or contact information with any other entity except to send you your $10 online reward.
- We store your personal information apart from your answers, so there is no way to identify you as a participant.
